Thomas, you've posted already a photo from my collection

Unfortunetly JungDo photos with good visible belt buckles are quite hard to find. I have many group pictures, but only one or two portraits...

uups, but I stole the picture, while it was on the auction - believe me, I had a feeling you were bitting - so I left it for you

Anyway - thanks for this great portrait picture ! Serious question - have you ever thought about a book of pictures of buckles in wear ?

    A quite splendid portrait.

Perhaps I can ask a very basic and perhaps to some, a horribly Neanderthal question ?

Why do Jung-Deutsch Orden images show and on a regular basis, chaps who are obviously not, young Germans ?

Is Jung an all embracing and collective noun as age, non specific ?

    Regards,

    David

In this context it is more like "modern" (modern teutonic order).

    I understand and many thanks.

Sometimes the direct and literal translation into English is dangerously misleading.

Yes, modern might be the translation, in the way of fresh. Not the old monarchic Deutschland anymore.

yes, exactly, perhaps "renewed" would also be a possible translation.

Many thanks and I really echo all what Thomas has said.

Great to see the female membership items and also, a super image of Artur Mahraun.
