Hi and welcome, sorry but the buckle is a well known fake, there is a whole series of buckles with these fakes boxes

The RZM had nothing to do with the Bund der Frontsoldaten, Stahlhelm
and the later NSD-Frontkämpferbund.
Various time this was said in the Mitteilungsblatt der RZM and phrased as:
Verbände, für welche die RZM nicht zuständig ist.

Normally I should not reveal this, as fakers also read the forums! But it has been
told earlier at other threads and posts......

Remind that when "Der Stahlhelm" became nazi (NS),
buckles were officially not to be worn anymore, but a
belt with double-claw, according to the regulation! But
many members kept on wearing the old "stuff"!!
In fact the buckle symbol shown was not even the official
form. This was the eagle with spreaded wings, since 1926.



Many forms were made, but in fact un-authorized and
they were worn, by the lots. This was connived by the
High Command (Bundesleitung).
