    here are some of mine.............

The funeral procession of what appears to be a "big wig" from the movement circa mid 1930's

    here's the guard of honour

This picture is not related to the above and is dated on the back 1933. I have not been able to identify the armshield on the men in field grey but the mixed group of WW1 veterans shows a variety of organisations represented in what is a very complex subject prior to the amalgamation of all the societies in 1936.

here is a picture of another group, not der stalhlelm members but clearly a Uhlan tradition society. Note the boy in the pickel at the front of the picture and the flag dating it post 1933.

This next sequence is taken from a photo album I have that belonged to a member of Infantry Regiment 6.

He served at the end of WW1 and then in the provisional reichswehr so was pretty young in the early 1920's and was still in service when this rally took place. I reckon that these pictures therefore are of his father and his mates......

I really like them as they offer us a window of what it must have been like to go off on one of these rallies, a true fore runner of the "lads road trip" and a chance to get away from the missus for a couple of days !

    Formation ready to move out.

This is a picture put in towards the end of the album but I believe it to be very early 1920's as the guys wear uniform and insignia attrubuted to perhaps either a WW1 trench mortor detachment or freikorps unit as the arm bands bear what appears to be a skull as does the collar tabs.
