One problem with Weimar civil is that a lot of it was "Third Reichisized" by unscrupulous individuals after the war. (Some were also legitimately period upgraded).

    This postal visor survived intact:

Weimar postal visor. Apparently, if the postman worked in a telegraph station, they wore blue piping instead of orange:

Just picked this up--a visor for a telegraph operator from the Sachsen Reichspost based out of Chemnitz.
The sparks below the eagle indicate that it is for the Telegraphenverwaltung.
Hat is made by Julius Kuhn of Dresden (who made hats into the TR).

Cap has a lovely gold eagle with polished highlights:

Sachsen Post by Julius Kuhn of Dresden. Note the soldier's id tag under the sweatband. This could indicate that Saxony recalled Feldpost visors for re-issue to the Post during the early years of the Weimar Republic.
