    The cockade is for Sachsen, I think and is shown with a 1918 chart.
    During the Weimar period (about 1928) the green ring was much thinner,
    but variations of course did exist!

    The Baschilkmütze or a look-a-like cap (sort of skiing-cap), was already mentioned in the March 1930 regulations.

    Post 18: the rare color is being caused by discoloration.
    Behind the eagle it is green. I had this cap many times
    in my hands when I visited the owner.
    The cap is not from Marc V., but from Philippe Gillain, a
    Belgium collector!
