    Hello lads,

I spent a few hours last night reading back through some interesting old threads. Some of you have some fantastic collections. Mine consist mostly of enfields. This one is my most recent, a 1915 22 trainer. No conversion date stamp but it retains it's 1915. I think it has a magnificently marked and preserved butt.

    Excellent rifle, Miaharry...
Is the graduation disk on the left side, for grenade launching?
    Thanks for showing...
    Regards, Thanos.

Thanos-no its the remains of the extreme long range 'dial' sight for volley shooting by a squad or platoon.

    Miaharry-when was the .22 conversion done? -I have a 1941 MkIII* converted in 1947.

    Thanks lithgow...
There's no date stamp to indicate the conversion date but my guess would be late 40's early 50's. I'm also of the opinion that the barrel is not original from it's conversion. I could be wrong though.
