Something you dont find everyday!!

a nice (god these are beautiful) german mg34 dated 1936!! the earliest one ive ever seen!!
the first type barrel jacket can be seen, i also noted that the earlier mgs had another bluing "tone" that makes them really awesome!!
would be nice if somebody have a spare bakelite reinforced stock and a spare machined top cover to complete the kit!!

Wow, Holy Cow that is a very early one!
1936 real nice find.
If you want period correct, circa 1936 for your buttstock you need a walnut one.
Have you had a look inside of the pistol grip yet?
If you find the fire regulator inside, then I am packing my bags and going to Italy!!!!!!!!
You don't see to many Mg34s with Weimar waffenamts either.

i took the pins out but it wont slide. im afraid that has been welded inside.....

unfortunately has been welded.... taking out the bakelite plates i found out the mg have the regler cut in the receiver but no regler left ((

what is Weimar waffenamt?

The Weimar waffenamts were in use until 1937.

The most noticeable difference is that the wings of the eagle are pointing down vertically, not horizontally.

the feeder cover is not good to this model , it not not a stamp metal sheet cover, but a machining cover.
