Well guys thats it, sorry its long winded but I like to add photos for future ref for anyone else. If anyone has info on the gun or has knowledge on the markings etc I would love to know

Jesus Ben, I bet that is heavy! I had the exact same box for my comparatively lightweight Bren and that was tough to heave around with the gun inside. It's stunning up on the tripod though, easily worth a hernia I reckon
Trouble is guys I cannot stop playing with it, its so well engineered its unreal. I am going to start to clean it up soon. The tripod needs de greasing and I will clean up all the brass work, I think it will make it look that bit better for display

Looking good Ben, my Lithgow Vickers is a B serial but my Tripod is very close to yours. The RT is Randwick Tramways.
