    Default 1942 vkt m39

Bought this today for $250, traded in one of my beat up K98's for this. The stock is pretty beat up, has a few cracks, including one to the right of the tang. and a one going towards the rang from the recoil lug, but no cracks showing on the underside from there. The bolt matches but the rest is un-numbered. The bore looks worn and dirty, but hopefully with clean up after range time. The receiver is unmarked and undated, yet has the grease hole still. So it's a 1895 or earlier from Chatellerault. The stoch had a few cracks but I repaired those today during my woodshop class today at school.
