Hi all and happy christmas! Latest acquisition this year is a DP-28 light machine gun (deac unfortunately). Really happy with this one, the MG itself is in very nice condition with only a few bangs and scratches to the stock, the rest has been looked after well. I believe its from the Izhevsk arsenal from the markings. The mag has a bit of damage to it, almost like a piece of shrapnel hit it, and wobbles slightly when it's attacked to the weapon, nothing I don't mind though. I'll post some pictures below, sorry if some of them are badly lit, and don't mind my dog, couldn't get him out of the photos... I tried to get all the markings visible. Hope you like it!

It's a shame they have to be tampered with but that's just the way the law is over here, not much we can do about it unfortunately.

Very nice DP 28. One of my favorite LMG. It's amazing how soft they shoot. Although the magazines can be a real bear to load whiteout the tool which is difficult to find, Fortunately I have the RP 46 belt feed adapter which negates the need to use the Pan mags.

Yeah those pan mags are not the most practical really, can't imagine it being very easy to carry around whilst fighting too.

Hi Ben, it is a nice example.

I have one, 1943. Our club owns one dated 1932 and the standard of finish to it is really good compared to wartime dated guns.

They are great to shoot live!

    Cheers, Ade.

Well even in the US it would have had to be grandfathered in the 70"s or it would be deactivated or made semi auto at least .
