1952 Izhevsk Tokarev

I got this in a trade on Saturday, I traded two 91/30s, a prewar mosin stock, a bayonet and 40 rounds of 7.62x39 for it. It's a last year of production Soviet Tokarev. The barrel, slide, and frame are matching. The hammer group is a mismatch. The bore is dark but strong rifling, the import safety was causing more harm than good so we took it off at the range. I've always wanted a Tokarev and was about to settle for a Romanian Tok but I'm happy with this one

I wish they'd allow them in without safeties but I don't see that happening again at all, along with the ban of imports from China and Russia. Yours looks awesome, is it also a 52 dated one?
