Yes, I was mildly suprised. I expected him to say $200.00, or higher. It is a 'shootable' gun -- the bore is quite nice. Interesting wood.

I purchased the antique Japanese shotgun today. I felt the price was very reasonable, so I didn't haggle over the price -- paid his asking of $130.00.

People should know, however, before they purchase a "shootable shotgun" like these pieces that a Greener Type took a long obsolete shell. A standard 12 gauge round will not chamber or fire in such a gun. Essentially, they are wall hangers, not shooters.
