ID:	654522rk was on a bit of a state so that was also cleaned up. I was pleased to see the matalwork had never been painted and was in very good order, the markings are Long Branch No,4 Mk1* 1944. the wood is dated 43 so not original to the rifle.

Very nice rifle panzer! Where is the date on the stock? As I am curious, seems most of the ones I see are unmarked/undated. Thanks, you did a very nice job!

    Very nice job!
We have met the enemy and have learned nothing more about him. I have, however, learned some things about myself. There are things men can do to one another that are sobering to the soul. It is one thing to reconcile these things with God, but another to square it with yourself. - Robert Leckie

Thank you, I should of been more specific, I was wondering where the stock (wood) was dated? Unless you meant the date of the stock is below the receiver date on the wood?

    Thanks!
