Believe it or not this box of 7.92 ammo was found by a friend of mine 10 years ago when he was in the army. He was assigned to a sh*t job. His job was to clear and cut down some trees in the side road because the army wanted to build a parking lot. After some days of cutting and clearing out the road side “woods” he came across a small concrete entrance. It occurred to him that this was an old German bunker. Inside he found to wooden crates with ammo that apparently the Germans or the Norwegians had left behind. So he took it home to his barracks, took 1 of the crates home with him on his leave. When he came home from leave the last box was totally empty! It turned out that his fellow soldiers had stolen the rest of the ammo!
The 2 boxes in that was found was filled with about 2000 rounds!
But anyway, he came over one day with this little box with 15 sharp 7.92 ammo.
very nice box you have there marked: (fur gewehr)...BILL
