Hi All: This is a 98k that I recently added to my collection. It was made in 1940 by the Mauser Works at Oberndorf. All the numbers match and it has a very nice bore. I took it out to the range to test fire and it is very accurate at 50 meters off-hand.
    Tks, Bob

Nice rifle Bob, I like that darker laminated stock. Looks like you've got an original sling on that bad boy too. I have a 1943 / byf made at Oberndorf. I truely love her, but she kicks like a mule!
