    Hello, Inxis !

Your guess was correct: Made by 'Berasaluze, Arieto-Aurtenia' - Spain,
and based on Browning 1906 pattern. (55mm barrel, 6 shot capacity)

    A nice little automatic !

I have this pistol in 7.65 cal. I got it from my grandfather with no other information regarding it. I'm just curious about it origin. It is in very good condition including the engine turning on the side of the trigger still intact. There is no rust and bluing is in about 80% condition. Does anyone know what the grips are made of because there is a small corner of the left front that shows some wear but is not contiguous throughout.

The grips of these pistols are usually made of hard rubber or plastic.
If there is any 'shrinkage' to them at all, they are the rubber type.
