    please see the attached photos. It is sort of AK47ish but not exactly. The only markings I can find are a logo that looks like a pair of scissors or crossed keys and 2/81. Can anyone say what it is?

    It is certainly an AK type but I couldnt tell you the country of origin.

    The logo is 2 crossed swords-this is the mark of the former Czechoslovak military.

    Yup it's from a VZ58, you can see the little lug at the rear of the mag with acts as the last round bolt hold open!..
    It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

    and another bit of info! Thank you guys, I know a lot more about it now than I did yesterday!! That is what is so brilliant about this site, things I 've had for donkeys years and not really known much about - one question and the answers come flooding in. Well done and thank you
