Super clean gun - looks like it's been in cosmolene for 60 years.
atb - Hydrometer AG, Breslau, Czechoslovakia - but they are not listed as one of the five producers of the '42.
    So I am probably wrong - but it's a start. -

Musgrave-Oliver list the following producers - small parts had multiple manufacturers.
    1. Grossman, Dobeln.
    2.Gustloff-Werke
    3. Maget, Berlin.
    4. Mauser Werke.
    5. Steyr-Daimler-Puch.

Just me looking in a book - sure there are better answers here.

A "d" would make more sense.

Hello, It is a 'd' as in dfb for Gustloff Werke and a pretty early one too. Here's two more. I don't want to sound picky but I don't think the buttstock's original. Very nice!Attachment 417119Jonathan
