Seems to be sorted now thanks guys. Probably a gremlin in the works.......either that or operator error! LOL
VERY NICE...........I would have have it regardless of original or copy, down here in Australia items like this are banned, because they look like they might be capable of hurting or scaring someone.... even if they are not capable of firing, you still have to complete mountains of paperwork for some office person at Firearms and Customs to say NO. Bloody government. I like it.
Hello, I like it, it's an early Mauser made in 1943. The Bipod and top cover are WW2 German, as is the barrel. I think the rear sight is post war, but can easily be changed, chances are the buttstock is post war, a picture of the back of the buttstock is needed to know for sure, lastly the bolt is either Yugo or WW2 German and the markings/stamps on the bolt will let you know which one it is. Very nice, Jonathan.
I got it !
what i can verify is that butt and buffer are post war, bolt is also yugo, rear sight, and dust cover... offcourse i had to talk down the price..
But neverthe less a nice base for restoration.
Now i need all the above parts to make it all WW2.
nice looking weapon.
