Very nice. I have a Smith And Wesson Victory Model as well, but it is in .38 Special. Not sure if it was issued to the British or not, is there any way to tell?

The British Victory Smith's were in British .380 Cal./.38 S&W.. And were very well marked with many British proof marks....BILL

I'm pretty sure the .38 special was only used by the US Police forces. The Mil version was a 38/200. The .38 spec rounds are too long to be chambered in the Victory pistol.
