    Gorgeous ! I Love it ! !

    Nice, early occupation model with tangent sight. I say 'early' because
    this one still shows a certain level of quality workmanship.
    Later models were finished very poorly.

    This type of adjustable sight was phased out on later models
    to speed production, and they also discontinued
    the magazine safety.

    It's quite a rare one, Josey !

    Hope you don't mind me adding mine to your thread...................

    First, a pre-war Belgian Army P-35. Second, a mid-production
    ( '42-'43 ) occupation model 640(b) with plastic grips.
    As you can see by this one, the finishes got worse
    as the war progressed.

    The High-Power was firearm genius John M. Brownings last design.

    thanks for showing the pistols i carried a browning pistol in the army and came 7th in my Batt,
    with it, lovely gun to fire also. love that design.
