Hi Lithgow, possibly a souvenir, but i cannot imagine how it came to be behind this oak panelling. found this myself, as timber is quiet old and had not been disturbed for years. Incidently heard a rumour many years ago of rifles found in attic space in trinity. british army had control of the college during the rising and the college had an OTC. little mystery eh. cheers Willie
