Article about: Interesting to know thanks mate. I'm not at home right now so I can't check but it may well have that mark. They were reissued to Australia in the 50's I take it?

This is a real beauty. Just noticed it in the classifieds.

A shame you have to let her go. I'd take her if she
were available on this side of the pond.........
    Regards,

    Steve.

    Thanks Steve,

I decided to sell after I dug her out for the photos. I don't have anywhere to display her properly sadly, stuck behind my couch in the case at the moment Seems a shame to have such a pretty one languishing in the dark. I wish I could post abroad mate!

    All the best,
    Andy

What a beauty, in exceptional condition, i was lucky to be able to live fire these on numerous occassions , accurate is'nt the word, grouping was easy with these on 3 second bursts, in fact they were over accurate as an MG because there was no spread, btw do you know what the smallest named part is , it has the longest name of any parts on the weapon

What a beauty, in exceptional condition, i was lucky to be able to live fire many of these and grouping was easy with a 3 second burst, in fact it was too accurate as an MG as there was very little spread of rounds, also do you know that the smallest part on the weapon has the longest name, "barrel locking nut retaining plunger lug"

That is a sweet piece. I wish we could have even teh deac over here, but the govt says the reciever has to be cut in at least 2 pieces, and if you put a parts kit together, it has to be on a dummy reciever, so there goes the history and that has to be thee longest post ever lol
