Default check out my SA walther PP

very excited to make this my first WWII treasure. its a 1938 SA walther PP, NSDAP gruppe Mitte, crown N marked, the serial number is before the letter was added, im told that someone reblued it but to me it looks great! it came with the SA marked holster in fairly rough shape. also came with capture papers. The guy was in the 82nd Recon Bn. part of 2nd armored Division Hell on Wheels.... first Americans into Berlin just before the date on the papers of Dec 45. If anyone can add to my knowledge of this piece I would greatly appreciate it. im hoping to make a nice shadowbox of this with my papers and SA dagger I have. Anyways I wanted to show someone who could appreciate this treasure.....my wife just doesn't understand and get excited like I do. sorry about the marked up pics I haven't had a chance to take my own yet. thanks guys

Great little pistol - reblued or not. Are you going to
shoot it or is it a display only piece now.........?
    Regards,

Very nice pickup! Your little Walther was made in year 1938, going by the serial number. The SA Gruppe markings can be found in several varieties-Pommern, Alpenland, Mitte, etc. This one was issued to the SA Brown Shirts in the Mitte district of Berlin. It is, to say the least, a very collectable piece and definitely worth holding on to!

I'd like to shoot it at least once! I got a little Hungarian FEG PP clone for my daughter and that is super fun to shoot. With the walther I feel I should just do my part to preserve this cool piece of history!
