Colt 1911

It is a great Book. I would pick one up If anyone was interested in colt. It is Colt's dates of Manufacture by R.L. Wilson. I don't think they are very expensive and they are a pocket edition.

Hello John just a quick question?? How & where are the British Proof markings you can see??.. & Mark I've looked at that site very interesting thank you both again Terry.

The British marks are on the slide - above and left of the
word 'Colt'. There may be more on the left side
of the frame as well.........

Edit: Oops - I see the marks have been singled out.
