Looks like a cross between an SKS and a K43.

Interesting gun. Any ideas on how it ended up the States?

    Cheers, Ade.

It sure does look like a cross between a SKS and a G-43...I purchased it a a show from a GI in the 80s.. He had been on a peace keeping mission in the Middle East...BILL

    Very Nice Bill

Still kicking myself for not buying one for $60 in about 1986 from a pawn shop in Greenville. I was back in school and just did not have the $$$.

Thanks Bill. Thats interesting. The Egyptians have been manufaturing their own 7.62X39 for some time. It would have been logical for them to use the SKS stripper. I can now imagine these Rasheed clips must be very rare!
    Thanks for checking!

    Cheers,

    Johnnie
