FG42 Muzzle Break opinions

Got this Muzzle Break in a lot of militaria.
Wondering if this one is genuine and original.
If Original, what is the estimate value?, i'm not collecting German militaria

It's a 'muzzle brake'-i.e. intended to slow the recoil of the weapon rearwards when fired

Yeah, I know what a muzzlebrake does, question is, is it original WW2 or reproduction.

judging by the purple oxidation t the blueing, I'd go with original. If it's a copy, it's very very good.
