Article about: Hi everyone, just bought this little flitlock trvaeling pistol for a good price. It looks to be of probably French manufacture and made c.1790. It is shown here with a watch dated 1814 and b

    I shoot my flintlock on New Years , usually just power and wadding .
    It's a Cape Breton tradition , sounds like a War-Zone around here .

    That's great Doug and a very nice watch too.

    I'd be so tempted to fire it but with just powder and wadding as Chris says they do in Cape Breton.
