G3P4 Assault rifle.......

Gents....after spending time looking for an ex-Bundeswehr Heckler & Koch or Rheinmetall manufactured G3A4 assault rifle I have drawn a blank...I have been told that the BW destroy their old guns, and that none enter the collectors market, how true this is I do not know, if anyone knows better please inform me ! So I purchased this deactivated (I am in the U.K. !) Pakistan Ordnance Factories made G3P4 (Pakistan Ordnance Factory designation for license produced G3A4 rifles). Made in 1969 it features wooden hardware, which was the finish on a BW G3A4 in the 1960's.....it is about the closest I am going to get at this time to an actual BW G3A4...It fits in nicely with my mid 60's BW Panzergrenadier display. One of my absolute favorite rifles. I have shot it a lot With optics you can group at 10 cm at 500 meters without much effort at all.

That reminds me. I have a parts kit for one of these also. It has green stocks. I need to get it out and find a reciever for it. great rifles. Had an H&K 93A3 when they were first imported. Dumb me sold it.

Hi Nuno....I have looked from time to time at ZIB Militaria, the only German made H&K examples I have seen them sell are part gun kits....never complete...their complete ones are usually Portuguese or Belgian made models.
