Very nice. "ac" is manufacturer Carl Walther AG located at Zella-Mehlis, 1944.

Comparing to pics on pp.326-331 of Senich' The German Sniper, details of ZF 4 scope look correct ( in fact, almost too good but that's just me being over-cautious ! ). Very nice gun, though and very hard to find .

Beautiful rifle, I remember reading a live-fire review of a G43 many years ago, unfortunately the firing caused a crack in the receiver! I'm sure some collector somewhere was Very Upset.

Am not an expert on the G 43 but it sure looks like a beauty to me. I know complete matchers can be a tough and expensive search. Have read many owners who shoot these models use an Apfeltor shooters kit to lesson the risk of damage to the gun do to the strong action. Your G-43 sure looks in fine shape. Love to own one to complement my 98k. Thanks for sharing.
