Gas operated machine gun

Hi to all,
I would like make a gas operated machine gun for reenactment desplay. Can somebody any experiences or can help to me?

still I have any idea how to make the gas operated gun, but what is big problem for me, is the cycling board. Could somebody help to me?

hi,we have one gas operated mg42 (m53)

Hi,
still I have contacted one chap on Czech Military forum, but the all information about gas operated mg is his workshop secret.

But I am on well way to finish my gas mg. I have bought set from USA.
You know that is restricted in Czech Rep. remake all demiled guns. I have to make the replica.

1st step
make the gas operated machine - only on board

2nd step
implemate it to the replica gun

For the first one I have to make only the "barrel" and teste it.
