    I have never seen a picture of one before, it looks like a very classy and refined 1911 in great condition. Thanks for posting the pics

    Thanks gentlemen for your replies,
    ......some interesting notes
    -The first run of accepted guns were marked E/655
    -These pistols are chambered for 7.65mm french Long , a non standard German caliber
    -these pistols are parkerized and then covered with a baked black enamel......very unusual

    I got a new camera and am testing the Macro......looks good....It is a Nikon Coolpix L110
