German G43 rifle find for 400.00 duv44

Bought this off an auction site for 400.00 30 years ago really bad info and pics,.I called the seller before bidding and asked if the stock matched,he said I don't know, where should it be numbered?Told him and he said looks like it does.Anyway I won it for 400.00 plus 25.00 shipping.Was pleasantly surprised when I got it,an all matching duv44 with an ex bore. Missing sighthood not a biggy,boy those were the days!

Thanks guys,appreciate it!Yes a good price, but I took a chance,it was sold as is and no returns.Sometimes you win sometimes you lose.If it would have had a bulged barrel or cracked receiver,that would not have been good.But I figured I could still have parted it out for the 425.00.ha

Excellent Toecutter! as usual and for $400!! Prices for a 43 these days are often mind boggling in the thousands. I know guys shoot em but often with an Apfeltor shooter kit. Glad ya got it a long time back. Quite an investment. Thanks for sharing
