    The term D.R.P.D.R.G.M. is a patent pending mark , it has pre-WWII proof marks . I believe it is a sporting rifle and not a training one .

    The military Training rifles where marked with "Deutsches Sportmodell" or "Wehrsport" in Cal .22 if i recall correctly
    Its a nice rifle anyway

    Even with the inlay , it could have been cut down and done later . It's the markings and lack of military marks that make it civilian to me . It's a lovely looking rifle , I myself do not like the inlay , but I'm sure it would be a very accurate rifle .

    It is indeed a real treasure and am sure it is a very quality build. Sure looks like a valuable keeper to me. Thanks again for posting and sharing with us.

    Thank you all. It is very accurate and is very well build, The bolt is very smooth.
