GI swap 1911a1 for tt33 tok which one would be worth more today?

Article about: GI swapped his 45 for a tt33 with a russian after the fall of Berlin.At least thats the story I got.Now which one would be worth more today?I know condition is a factor.Assuming same cond.,w

    Thanks B61 and PRE!Yeah could have been taken off a german ,I dont think it was sold in the 50s or 60s because it came from a vet,but the vet could have bought it in the 50s or 60s too no way to know. Always buy the gun not the story!Anyway tt33s like this one are harder to find than a GI 1911a1,probably 10 to one,that dosent mean its worth as much just that they are harder to find.

    Toecutter mine came from Vietnam with bringback papers it also came with an sks also same bring back papers . its a very fun gun to shoot

    It is definitely possible it is a war trophy, but I'm guessing he didn't trade his 1911 for it (but beyond that who knows!).

    Thanks everyone!Yeah the story seems to have some holes in it,who knows.It was an officer to officer trade or so the story goes,those guys could get away with more than the grunts especially if they had friends in high places,ha ha.Gary,a Nam bringback would be very cool!
