Looking for information on this model pistol. Not sure why a model gun would be produced or what it was originally used for. Very interesting, we aquired it from a friend we have been doing business with for many years.
Maybe we will get some good news, fingers crossed that it is at least a rare piece!

    Thank You Very Much

Made by the Model Gun Company in the 1970's and worth about $300.

    Whatever its just an opinion.

Not actually rare, but I wouldn't pay more than $100 for something like this.
These were advertised as guns which were safe and could not chamber
live ammunition. I find it hard to believe that these 'non-guns' may be
worth more than $75/$100 today, except perhaps MP40's which could
be used by re-enactors - the last replica Schmeisser I saw went for
    $500 about 6 years ago.

I have owned three of these by 'RMI' - Replica Models Inc ( 9mm Luger,
1851 Colt Navy, and a .45 1911 that I still have ) along with an
    original sales catalogue/brochure.........
    Regards,

    Steve.

It is a fine looking replica of a Broomhandle Mauser in 9MM. Hence the 9 on the grips.
