Enjoy this Gustloff-Werk (bcd) coded G43..Approximately 50,000 Gustloff G43 were manufactured for German armed forces in WW2, none will be dated as with the other contractors of G43s.. This one was built on a subcontracted, cosmetically machined receiver, manufactured by the French arsenal, (MANUFACTURE NATIONAL d'ARMES de St ETIENNE) and proofed on the receiver with WaA134..... Gustloff stock proofs are WaA749.. This weapon came with other souviners, take home papers and was 'DUFFEL BAG' cut and repaired.. A few accessories are included... Enjoy BILL

The nicest G-43 I have seen. Why did they start calling them K-43 towards the end of the war?

Great rifle in great condition - simply a joy to see.

    Thanks for posting this beauty.

I always liked these slightly brutish war horses. Very industrial, which I quite like.
