Beautiful .32's in the boxes guys ! They're a great little gun !
I'm sure both boxed type shown are somewhat later
specimens with the "long-print" roll engraving.
I read somewhere that these were produced in higher numbers
than any other Colt pistol, followed by the Single Action "Peacemaker".
I'll post mine in a bit..........

I would think your grandfather's Colt could really relate some great stories... Nice family keepsake...BILL
I wish they could talk! My grandfather died a few years before I was born, so I never got any stories directly from him. I did hear from my dad that my grandfather did have to shoot and kill a man with the pearl handled one. About six months after my grandfather retired, a man came into the restaurant my grandfather was managing and pulled a gun on him. Somehow, my grandfather got the drop on him.
