Hello-according to the 'Standard Catalog of Military Firearms' 4th Edition price range would be US$75-600. Probably closer to $400 given its condition. Rifle is based on earlier Mannlicher/Feg models but uses 7.92mm x 57 ammo.

Interesting rifle, would I be right in saying that some parts of this are based on that of the Mosin Nagant and K98 rifles, to me it looks as if there are a few similarities.

Not really, no-design started out as Romanian M1893 Mannlicher, in 6.5mm x 53R then M1935 rifle in the spitzer 8mm x 56R Hungarian/Austrian round then the M98/40 in 7.92mm as an export rifle for Germany (K98k substitute, takes the German bayonet) then the M43 for the Hungarian army in 7.92mm as many German weapons in that calibre were used by them by mid war. The large bolt knob and cocking piece are typical Mannlicher features.

For some reason the bolt just reminded me of the one on the Mosin Nagant, and the safty catch on this reminds me of the one on the K98, that thanks for the info

actually I looking for bolt extractor for this rifle...
Gew98/40 extractor also match..it' the same thing..

All of the hungarian rifles 43 M Ge98/40 are basicly the same weapon as the 35 M. The Gew98/40 is an export wariant whit 7,92*57 Mauser rounds and some k98k part but 90% it is just an rechambered 35M. The 43M was developed later the war when the 31 M round (this was the standard ammo what the hun army used) started to cause logistic/supply problems so they developed an rechambered 35M rifle, this use 7,92*57 Mauser rounds to lower the logistical/supply problem
