Indonesian Madsen LMG M51 Instruction Book

Just want to share this, i obtained it recently along with the other paper based militaria collection.
Indonesian Madsen LMG instruction book, i guess it's should be M50 but the book said M51.

The book made by Dansk Industri Syndikat itself?



The good machine gun standard for Madsen should be as LMG, the weapon have an air cooled also have a firing speed approximately 30 bullets in 3 seconds.
For reloading, it used magazine.
This weapon is light, the weight approximately 10 kg, easy to dissamble for inspection and cleaning, giving an enough guarentee, good one, and resistance against dirt, for example dust, raining water, mud water, etc; so that’s why it’s dependable and suitable for mobile operation.

Riffelsyndikatet exported the Madsen LMG to a number of countries, as far as I know.
The Brazilian government only retired theirs a decade or two ago... As far as I remember.

It is a very nice LMG...

Attached you will find a photo of a Danish Madsen M/48... nicknamed "The Virgin Madsen"...

I always wondered why the TNI did not shorten the barrels, as this would be a lot more comfortable to the Indonesian lads?

The KNIL did shorten their Madsens with good result. No loss of accuracy! The only reason I can think of is the larger caliber the TNI used in it's Madsen (30.06 instead of the Dutch 6.5 mm).

And about documentation, i still have some in my sleeves.
Just waiting for the fund and the seller. It's dutch tactic book complete with field map, the one is from WW1 the other (the one i wait and what the seller thought) from 1930's. I hope i can buy it asap so i can share it in here too.
