    Jason,

A few P.38 holsters with markings.

I believe P.38 soft shell holsters were officially adopted in 1944 to replace the hard shell holster ....except for a few manufacturers that manufactured soft shell holsters in 1943.

A couple of 1943 dated soft shell holsters.

Typical of these 1943 soft shell holsters was the upward closing strap which is not seen on the model in 1944. which it is downward.

    Code fkx WaA 869
    Gustav Sudbrack, Lederwaren-u. Gamaschen-fabrik, Bielefeld, N-W

    Gebr. Klinge, Dresden
    Code gxy WaA 706

    --------------------------------------------------
1944 dated hard shell holsters are also less common as the soft shell model had been replaced them by that time.

Shown below is a 44 dated hard shell holster with manufacturers code gmo and WaA204 inspection markings as well as RBNr .0/0655/0013 late war markings over the left belt loop in the photo.

A pair of Akah shoulder holsters. The one for a model 1922/23 DWM 7.65 auto and the other for a PPK. In this case the PPK is a 22 calibre which came in this holster.
