Here's one that you do not see very often a fully functional a Breda Type 30 LMG. The Italians complex solution to a simple problem. The top of the receiver is a reservoir for a lubricant the was sprayed onto the 6.5x50 cartridges. Very quickly producing a soupy mixture ay the bottom of the receiver. In the sands of Ethiopia and North Africa the dust and sand quickly made the Breda inoperable. I have shot this LMG many times but lube the cartridges with a light coat of Johnson's paste wax. I do the same for my Type 96 Japanese Nambu which has weak primary extraction and Type 92 Japanese HMG which also has a lubricant reservoir.
Well any way it had a quick barrel

    Thanks Pete,
I can not imagine how bad it must have been. We went to Egypt in 1981. I kept my Nikon in a plastic bag. Only taking it out to shoot some photos. Wasn't windy at all. My camera quite working after 10 days, I couldn't advance the film and had to send it to Nikon for an overhaul.
    Regards,
    Sam

I don't see another camera in my future unless I want to get divorced. Besides think about the nice weapon I could buy for that money. I don't buy cheap or lenses.
