Congratulations!!!!!! Awesome pick-up. I have an empty spot in my gun rack waiting for one of these one day.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

The date on this low number rifle would put it in the 1943 range.

I hit post before I could say WOW!!!!! That is a very nice type 2 paratrooper rifle, if you tell me it came with the bayonet I will pass out. I am waiting on a friend to tire of his and I can join the paratrooper club.

Thanks for the responses, Marty sorry no bayonet I sure wish I could say yes to that one LOL! The metal and bore are great on this one only wood damage, but I like it gives character!

    Thanks again Curt

You have very special rifle, Maybe one day I can add one to my collection. The bayonet would have been icing on the cake.
