K98 sling with strange markings

Article about: Hello dear friend, I've came across with this K98 sling. I have a couple of question about it. Is that sling is fully original? Is that german made? What you can tell me about markings "

    I've came across with this K98 sling. I have a couple of question about it.

    Is that sling is fully original?

    Is that german made?

    What you can tell me about markings "RO" and "88 'two swords' 40" (if I see correctly)?

    The RO mark makes me think it might be Romanian, I'm fairly sure it is not German.

    Looks german to me,its 98 40 for k98 1940.The other ink stamp looks like a german waffenamp.The keeper roll pin has slanted lines on yours, this original has straight lines but could be just different makers,not an expert on slings JMO.
