You can still find some interesting relics from the 1941 German invasion in Crete. The item below found during a roof repairing, under the tiles of an old abandoned country house in a village near Kissamos Chania. The Leuchtpistole 34 is an aluminium flare pistol marked ayf 41 -by Erma factory Erfurt-with very low serial #686g and WaA280.
The LP34 is a Single Action gun with 6" barrel length and black plastic grips.
Some of the of black color has gone, a kind of corrosion has occured and also the hammer is blocked from rust but just as well every part is there.
    Thanks for watching, Aghs.

Perhaps the barrel is weathered, the flare gun measured is 219mm full length unfolded and the barrel alone 57mm.
