Wow, the G-41M ( Mauser ) is very rare, just 6,673 being made.
Wasn't this the gun that had the requirements of being able to be used as a bolt action in case the semi-auto function broke?
The original Wehrmacht specs called for no holes to be drilled in the barrel for the gas operation, hence the complicated G-41 designs.
It's exciting to see a rare rifle in such extraordinary condition, thanks for posting.

Indeed, it is a rare rifle to start wit, but in this condition even more so!
I have only ever handled one of these. The few others I have only ever seen in museums.
