Mosin Nagant m91/30 Made 1943

My latest aquisition-has no arsenal markings on the receiver ring, just the serial number, the year and proof marks-marks on small parts such as the barrel bands indicate Izhevsk was the maker which is the norm for 1943-it has the rough finish with mill marks of wartime manufacture-the stock has a very thin shellac coating and has worn in a number of places including where a flake has come off the buttstock showing the raw Arctic Birch underneath (not a scratch or chip though). Many interesting brands and cartouches on the woodwork. The bolt head and other internals show it's never been shot.
