MP34 v MP40

Hi all, just a small observation really, I received my batch of weapons today (which was very nice) and I have been comparing the MP34 with the MP40. For years I have always loved the MP40, its looks, reputation but now I have both in hand and comparing them together the MP40 is not a patch in quality against the MP34, in fact I should have bought 4 or 5 MP34,s instead of the MP40, funny how some things change when you get them for real?

I can see your point of view, but the MP40 was suitable for mass production at a fixed price.It's the same argument with the MG34 and MG42, I much prefer the 34, but it was a very labour intensive gun to produce.

Ther MP 40 is my favorite.I almost bought one this year but it was 16k(live,matching,C+R rated).So I passed,my loss.

I have always admired the excellent quality of the machining on the MP-34. It is simply cost prohibitive to make them like that now.
