UPDATE! A Carcano expert contacted me and asked for permission to include pictures of my rifle in a new reference book he is writing!
I am blown away by this! ... my little rifle is going to be famous!

Boy, that was quick ! - Now you are a genuine bona-fide collector !
I guess you are going to hang on to this one for a while.........?
Regards,
Steve.
I now feel very privileged! I even feel kind of fancy... I can tell people to reference the book that my rifle is included in... stick my pinky up while drinking tea, etc.
I have trouble selling most anything in my collection... this rifle is especially meaningful because my gf bought it for me! I hope to take her out to shoot it this weekend! She said she would wear my Italian Alpini helmet, too! (It remains to be seen if she will keep her word on this...)
Depends how far you want to go but an oiler, also the jag/brush cleaners that fit on the end of the rod-armourers tools/screwdrivers (getting pretty esoteric there).
Thanks for the response, Lithgow!
I forgot to mention! I have a Carcano screw driver and pewter oiler on the way...
I kind of want to get a gray green leather shoulder bandoleer. I think they look cool!
Did you end up getting a bayo that fits?
Bravo! (as the Italians say).
