Dave, This is a early commercial CZ-27 in 7.65mm (.32Auto) purchased by German Rail Road thus the DR markings, on the trigger guard....The pistol has been reblued....BILL

Nice pistol! They are great reliable shooters and accurate.Have my dad's pistol,a S&W Highway Patrolmen Model 28, after 34 years.Shot a bear with it back in 1979. It was something special to him,and link to him I can put my hands and shoot. My 18 year old son knows it's history, and shoots it too.Your dad thought enough of this pistol,to have it reblued and make it look as good as possible.Hang on to it,you will be glad you did. These pistols were issued to young soldiers,to protect their lives, and sure it gave them a sense of security.A true piece of history.
